Saying “Good Bye” is Hard To Do

Honey’s mom & dad sold their home that Honey grew up in. They’ve lived there since 1958 (Yikes, the year I was born). Even though at 87 they are more than capable of taking care of themselves, we all thought it best that they get out of the rat race of the urban suburbs of Washington, D.C. They’ve always been within an arms reach of us and even though we probably didn’t visit as often as we should (don’t we all say that), we always knew they were close by.

Gma & Gpa came for dinner yesterday for our last good byes as they spread their wings to fly the coop. They will now be living on the same property as Honey’s sister in Virginia, some 5 hours from us.

It was an emotional good bye especially for Honey.
