Grassfed Burger

It’s been awhile since I’ve cooked burgers. Probably July when my sister Jackie was visiting from CA. She raves over my grassfed burgers. Our beef is from Scottish Highland Cattle that were raised locally at Sycamore Spring Farm.
Today I was really running late. I take a Pottery class on Tuesdays at yes, you guessed it, the Senior Center! I really love it. My table companion is 80 yrs old. She full of wisdom and we chat the entire 2 hrs. I know, hard to believe!
Today I needed to pick-up groceries at Trader Joe’s and do our monthly shopping. I got home around 2:30 and was really hungry. I pulled out the beef I’d thawed a day ago and decided that that’s what I was having for lunch.
I picked up some organic greens and little tomatoes at TJ’s and decided that since I’m grain free again, I’d lay my burger on a bed of greens. I whipped up some quick homemade mayo in the food processor. Melted some raw milk cheese on my burger and poured a little bit of Balsamic Vinegar over the greens.
OMIGOSH!!!! That was the best burger I’ve had in …..well….forever! I’m telling ya, when you are really hungry everything tastes better. And low and behold I remembered to take a picture before I’d eaten half of it.
