Symptoms
If a tick infected with ehrlichia or anaplasma bites you, the following flu-like signs and symptoms may appear within five to 14 days of the bite:
- Mild fever
- Headache
- Muscle aches
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Cough
- Joint pain
- Confusion
- Rash — rare in adults, but more frequent in children
This is one of the infections I’ve tested positive for. The last few days have not been quite right and I suspect it’s Ehrlichia. Not a pleasant one to have visit me right now. I was doing so well….and now this. I’m having a lot of the Chronic Fatigue stuff with it and as I’ve learned the last three years, the best thing to do is rest. So if you don’t hear from me it’s because I’m resting. I just don’t feel like doing anything.
It’s funny this disease. As you heal from one infection then just like the layers of an onion you peel it to find another layer. Yuck! I guess that’s why I needed an early mental health day yesterday….I guess I could go see another movie? Na, it costs toooooo much….$8 bucks for a 11 AM show!!! That’s highway robbery.
I did manage to get all my potatoes dug and my cabbage cut this AM. I’ll have to post pics another time…I don’t feel good.

That is rough, I’ll pray for you, I haven’t read your section on Lyme disease yet so forgive me if this information repeats its self, have you heard of an herb called Teasel? Here is a fellow herbalist with Lyme and how he is treating it.

Thanks for your well wishes…it was a very short attack. It really knocks me off my feet and I do get a little scared that it’s back and my life will be gone again. I know. I have to believe and keep the faith. This was however a good experience, because it showed me just how healed I am…it was short lived! Praise God!
Oh yes, and to Christiana. I am also taking Teasel and it does an amazing job!!!
